Built on a 9-acre site, adjacent to Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock, this new 4-story, 161,000 SF medical office building is home to Baptist Health's Medical Education program in partnership with UAMS. The facility serves as a point of access for the North Little Rock community and provides opportunities for the residents to practice in a clinical setting. Several of the features include state-of-the-art medical equipment, a large atrium lobby, conference rooms, classrooms, a resident lounge, waiting areas, shower facilities, an exercise room, a radiology suite, a kitchenette and patient care clinical areas. In addition, the new building houses other physician clinics, as well as lab and x-ray along with several doctors' offices, administration offices and nursing stations. The building's exterior is primarily brick and curtain wall with metal panel canopies. Roughly a quarter of the building is being left unfinished to accommodate future growth.
After completion of the overall project, CDI finished out a 14,000 SF women's center and pharmacy on the first floor. The women's center includes four doctors' offices, 25 patient exam rooms, a lobby, a laboratory, three administration offices and three nurses stations. The retail store front pharmacy includes a lobby/waiting area, office, pharmacy counter and working platform for pill distribution.
